Extra Sec / Extra Dry
If you see Extra Sec or Extra Dry on your Champagne label this means that you’re about to try the third driest style of Champagne which typically consists of 12-17 grams per Litre of sugar (12-17g/L).
Sec is directly translated to mean ‘dry’ in French and should not be confused with Brut which can also mean dry or raw.
