Extra Brut
Extra Brut essentially means extra dry/raw and denotes bottles of Champagne which typically have less than 6 grams per Litre of sugar in them (6g/L). Sec also means dry in French which is where the two terms are confusing.
Extra brut is the second driest style of Champagne, sitting in between the driest style ‘Brut Nature’ and ‘Brut’.
