As Champagne’s sixth largest house, you should be familiar with their flagship NV which is a very solid wine, sold at a reasonable price-point. Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger wrestled ownership back into the family in the mid 2000’s and has been on a mission to improve quality at an already formidable house.
Chardonnay has always formed the base of the house style and it is always a treat to try their Blanc de Blanc, Comte de Champagne prestige cuvee. This wine should be on any serious Champagne fan’s wish list.
