Taittinger is Champagne’s sixth largest house by volume of production and it’s rare that you would not be familiar with their flagship NV. It’s a solid wine, sold at a very reasonable price. Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger wrestled ownership back into the family in the mid 2000’s and has been on a mission to improve quality at an already formidable house.
