Sec refers to a ‘dryish’ style Champagne typically consisting of 17-32 grams per Litre (17-32g/L) of residual sugar. Sec directly translated means ‘dry’ as can’Brut’ however in the case of classifying Champagne, Sec is sweeter than Brut.
